My pool maintenance guy install this in my pool about 5 years ago. It's been a total lifesaver. We have ficus trees planted right next to the pool and other landscaping around the yard that all seems to want to dump leaves etc into the pool. I used to have to go out and use the net every morning. This device takes care of all the surface leaves All I have to do is empty the bag once in a while. I love it it's lasted a long time and I will definitely buy a new one if it ever breaks

This product really does what it claims.
We have several trees close to our pool that drop leaves regularly. Also we live near a lake, so lots of tiny insects end up on the pool water from time to time.
No problem now. A few hours and our 16x32 pool looks nice and clean on top.
Highly recommended.

A couple years ago developed a leak in pipe that connects to the skimmer of our fiberglass pool. I was able to use a male threaded plug and seal off the bottom of the skimmer. Stopped leak, realize a stopgap repair, but worked prior to having to cut out concrete one day. Called procrastination. Converted all return water to be sucked from the two bottom returns bypassing the skimmer totally. Again, has worked well, downside is we lost all top skimming for bug/insects. Last two years we've just hand skimmed prior to swimming with a couple fine mesh hand skimmers. Again, works but... I had looked and looked to see if there was something that skim the top of water. I use a robot cleaner which does a great job on floors and walls, helps filter water, but does nothing for the bugs/insects floating. I accidently stumbled across this product while just reading. Thought I'd give it a try. Wow!! it really works. Installed it a couple weeks ago, which was easy too, and the top of water is bug/debris free!! I've now emptied the mesh bag twice, once after a storm left a lot of leaves floating. I am just so impressed.

I purchased this item in 2018, and has worked superbly. 100% satisfied and recommended. If you have trees near your pool, the poolskim works great to catch not only tree debris but bird poop, feathers and insects. Keep an eye on the debris bag for tears which you can quickly fix with either nylon string or fish line, wear and tear does happen due to the continuous action of te skimmer and if you start to notice the skimmer tilting, the bottom connector may have started to slip or loosen up, it might be time to replace the connected. Poolskim has a complete set of replacement items to keep your Poolskim working for years!
Well worth the price which = time saved using the pool net instead of swimming!

Purchased this as an alternative for a deep end skimmer that no longer functions due to collapsed flexible piping. It took some tweaking but a week into using it we are VERY impressed with the effectiveness. It's doing a great job keeping up with crape myrtle flowers blowing into the pool.

Absolutely perfect! We have an above ground pool and this fixed all of our floating issues. Those tiny little bugs and pollen - all gone. Pool is crystal clear. Our pool guy thought it would not work as he expected it to attach to outgoing, but it Worked perfectly with existing pump etc because it attaches to the incoming jet.
